Yanko vom Stadtgraben

Yanko is a graceful and ground covering male.  With his athletic frame he moves very well in the field, covering lots of ground in an efficient manner.

He’s a very calm dog spending much of his non-hunting time sitting in his owners trade show booth attracting potential customers with his great looks, friendly attitude, and calm confident personality.

He has hunted several species of birds in many geographies, from South Dakota pheasants, Wyoming sharptails, to South Texas quail.  He competed in the 2008 Armbruster, finishing in the top 10 with a score of 188.  This fall he successfully passed the VGP.

Yanko was imported to the US as a puppy.  He is a full brother (from a repeat breeding) to Watz vom Stadtgraben, a very successful German stud dog and sire to several successful litters in Germany.  Click HERE for more info on Watz.

Yanko is the son of Brisko vom Erthal, father of our Female Rixa v. Oechtringer-Forst.   With Gerda sharing some of the same dogs in the pedigree, this offers to be a very nice line breeding.

Click HERE for more info on Yanko on the VDD-GNA stud dog page.  Please note that the photo there is old and he has filled out more, as can be seen in the more recent photos.
